The new year will be here before we know it, and that’s a call for celebration.

Whether you’re hosting a New Year’s Eve party or want to quickly replace your holiday décor with New Year’s décor, Seattle Goodwill is a great resource to satisfy your DIY projects

There are a great number of crafts you can make with Goodwill items to help bring in the new year. Seasonal aisles are filled with a variety of blue, gold and silver decorative items. You can find garland and lights, too.

We decided to take a creative spin on the traditional New Year’s Eve countdown with a sharp-looking countdown clock display. It was quick and easy to throw together. We first visited the clocks section in Goodwill and found a great variety of novelty clocks. Once we gathered a handful of them in varying size and style, we worked our way to our seasonal aisle, where we found some gold and silver candlesticks and other décor items.
