Over the next 10 months, we'll highlight a different decade of our organization's history and the evolution of Evergreen Goodwill's Mission and community impact, starting where it all began – at the corner of Seattle's Boren Avenue & Virginia Street in 1923.
Evergreen Goodwill Releases 2022 Annual Report
Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is excited to present its 2022 Annual Report! The report highlights our commitment to environmental sustainability and our efforts to bridge the digital divide – including our brand-new Digital Equity Bus. Assisting Evergreen Goodwill students to overcome barriers to education and employment is at the core of this work.

“If you have any dream, just go for it.” – Jamila
Jamila is not only a dreamer but a fighter and a survivor. After escaping an abusive living situation in Morocco, she made her way to the U.S. and eventually to Goodwill where she took classes to further her education. She’s now on track to become a licensed practical nurse and has a job that she loves!
Evergreen Goodwill Partners with Local Employers to Host Event Connecting Community Members with Job Opportunities and Recourses
On Jan. 26, Evergreen Goodwill is partnering with local employers like Starbucks, Delta Air Lines and T-Mobile to connect job seekers with opportunities and employment support during a Community Hiring & Resource Fair. Translation services, resume and interview support will also be provided by Evergreen Goodwill.

The first full week of October marked National Customer Service Week, and this is the perfect time to share the story of an Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington employee who is undoubtedly one of the best in the business. With more than 30 years of experience, Cuong is now sharing his knowledge to help positively influence the next generation of customer service professionals.

“My main goal is to inspire people who are like me, who wants to be a pilot but who don't believe in themselves.”
Abdullahi, a former student in our Youth Aerospace Program, is now pursuing degrees in aviation and business management and hopes to not only be a pilot one day but also play a role in the economic advancement of developing African nations.
Whatcom Talk: New High Tech Learning Highlights Evergreen Goodwill Partnership With Comcast in Bellingham
Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is excited to announce the grand opening of its second, state-of-the-art Lift Zone – in partnership with Comcast. This space will provide free WiFi access to individuals and families across Whatcom County who are looking for online resources, learning digital skills, and accessing vital technology at our Whatcom County Job Training and Education Center.
