When you generously donate items to Goodwill, you can rest assured that we make every effort to give your treasures new life and purpose, but we can’t do it alone!

Evergreen Goodwill works with a number of community organizations and government agencies to help ensure that as many treasures as possible don’t end up in the landfill.

E-Cycle Washington

  • E Cyclelogo

Holding on to an electronic item that no longer works because you don’t know how to properly get rid of it? Goodwill is here to help! As part of the E-Cycle Washington program, we’ll properly recycle TVs, monitors and computers that can’t be sold in our nonprofit thrift stores and help make sure those toxic materials stay out of local landfills. School Donation Drives

  • Goodwill Bluebin 250x250 1

We’re so thankful for our local school partners for being gracious hosts of donation drives held throughout the year. These events give families another convenient and sustainable option to help support the community and our mission through countless items that are donated during these events. Threadcycle

While we do our best to ensure the highest quality clothing and other textiles make it onto the sales floor, that doesn’t mean stained, torn, ripped or other damaged items don’t have a place in our donation bins. We proudly partner with Threadcycle, a program created by King County and Seattle Public Utilities, to help recycle worn-out clothes, shoes and linens.

While these are just a few of our close partners, Evergreen Goodwill also works closely with a number of other organizations to help us reduce waste even more. All this is part of our effort to support 360° of sustainability by giving back to your community. Proceeds from your donations help fund our FREE Job Training and Education programs.

Just last year, we served over 2,700 students and helped 468 of them find employment. We offer a wide range of classes across various topics including ESOL, computers, high school completion/GED, and much more! To learn about our Job Training and Education programs, click here.
