Evergreen Goodwill Names Derieontay Sparks Chief Revenue Officer to Lead Enterprise-wide Strategy

POSTED October 6, 2026 IN:

Sparks will focus on innovation, systems thinking, and revenue models to boost the social enterprise’s funding for tuition-free education programs it offers.

SEATTLE, Wash. — September 29, 2026 — Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington has promoted Derieontay Sparks to Chief Revenue Officer. The expanded role brings the organization’s primary revenue-generating functions and key operational teams under unified leadership. The title change also recognizes his impact on Evergreen Goodwill during a time of major transformation across the organization’s operations, systems, and tuition-free adult education programs.

Sparks previously served as Senior Vice President of Retail, Growth Operations and Customer Experience. Since joining Evergreen Goodwill in 2017, he has held increasingly senior leadership roles across the organization. His expertise also extends beyond Evergreen Goodwill through his participation on the National Retail Federation’s Sustainability Council, where he contributes to conversations about sustainability, circularity, and the future of retail.

In his new role, Sparks oversees Thrift Retail, E-Commerce, Transportation, Salvage, Outlet, Zero Waste and Donor Services, with responsibility for strengthening performance across the organization’s revenue and operational ecosystem. The expanded scope reflects Evergreen Goodwill’s focus on creating greater value from donated goods and building a stronger, more sustainable business model.

“Our ability to serve more people starts with building a stronger, more innovative, and sustainable organization. At a social enterprise like Evergreen Goodwill, revenue growth and mission impact are two sides of the same coin, and Derieontay is the best leader to embody this deeply embedded approach. His new role allocation will lend momentum to our transformation, allowing us to create more value from every donation and ultimately serving more people in our community.”

— Libby Johnson McKee, President & CEO, Evergreen Goodwill

“I’m honored and excited about this opportunity to shape the vision for our operations and new venues. Goodwill may be over a hundred years old, but our leadership team is setting the course for a successful future, for the organization and the community we serve.”

— Derieontay Sparks, Chief Revenue Officer, Evergreen Goodwill
