Our Whatcom County Job Training & Education Center in Bellingham proudly hosted a job and resource fair with a keen focus on connecting immigrant and refugee populations to jobs and resources available in the community.

The organization fulfills this mission in a variety of ways, including offering basic instruction on how to use computers and smartphones, cloud computing and applications like Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Docs and Sheets.”

After we consider the cost of running our extensive retail operation, we are still able to put over $11 million of that directly toward our mission to provide free job training and education, but also to continue to invest in increasing wages for our own 2,100 employees.'”
