The announcement was made as escalating theft, safety concerns, and rising rents have made it increasingly difficult to maintain a secure and sustainable environment for both employees and shoppers. The last day these stores will be open and accepting donations is September 22.

His last day will be March 22, 2024. A committee comprising members of the board of directors will oversee the selection process for Evergreen Goodwill next president and CEO.

Evergreen Goodwill is celebrating its 100th anniversary of making a positive impact on the community. To commemorate this milestone, the organization is hosting a series of free Birthday Bash celebrations across the region, featuring live entertainment, giveaways, and opportunities to learn about their programs and partnerships.
Furthering its commitment to providing opportunity and supporting communities across Northwest Washington, Evergreen Goodwill is opening its second Skagit County location – providing another option for residents to donate and shop in support of the organization’s free Job Training and Education programs.
On Jan. 26, Evergreen Goodwill is partnering with local employers like Starbucks, Delta Air Lines and T-Mobile to connect job seekers with opportunities and employment support during a Community Hiring & Resource Fair. Translation services, resume and interview support will also be provided by Evergreen Goodwill.
