An era marked by the Great Depression also represented an important opportunity for Evergreen Goodwill to provide support for those in need at its newly-developed headquarters facility.
Evergreen Goodwill is celebrating 100 years of existence throughout 2023! Over the next 10 months, we’ll highlight a different decade of our organization’s history and the evolution of Evergreen Goodwill’s Mission and community impact, starting where it all began – at the corner of Seattle’s Boren Avenue & Virginia Street in 1923.
On Jan. 26, Evergreen Goodwill is partnering with local employers like Starbucks, Delta Air Lines and T-Mobile to connect job seekers with opportunities and employment support during a Community Hiring & Resource Fair. Translation services, resume and interview support will also be provided by Evergreen Goodwill.
Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is excited to announce the grand opening of its second, state-of-the-art Lift Zone – in partnership with Comcast. This space will provide free WiFi access to individuals and families across Whatcom County who are looking for online resources, learning digital skills, and accessing vital technology at our Whatcom County Job Training and Education Center.
Our Whatcom County Job Training & Education Center in Bellingham proudly hosted a job and resource fair with a keen focus on connecting immigrant and refugee populations to jobs and resources available in the community.
